Imagine a day where over 4000 people and their best four legged friends come together to play games, do some shopping, adopt a buddy, and swim and eat and just enjoy each others company - and raise over $68,000 for cancer research. The day you would be imagining was L’Oreal’s “Because Your Dog Is Worth It, Too” held August 18, 2007 at the L’Oreal facility in Cranbury, NJ.
To say that the atmosphere of this event is wonderful would be an understatement. The bond between dog and their people is demonstrated and celebrated and thoroughly enjoyed - laughter and licks and tail wags - and it is all for a cause that one in three people will come to know all too well.
Because the day was so special and there are just not enough words to do it justice, I thought I would let pictures tell the story. Thank you Rich and Ginny and everyone at L'Oreal - you guys are great!
